A local move planned around your home
A short journey still needs proper planning. Furniture must fit through doorways, appliances need safe handling and every box needs enough room in the vehicle. We assess the size of your home, the volume of belongings and access at both addresses before setting out the job. Three and four-bedroom homes are a particular focus, but the inventory always determines what we send. We record agreed furniture, cartons, appliances and personal belongings, then select a suitable vehicle and number of removal workers. This helps avoid finding out on moving day that an item, access route or extra load has been overlooked.

Know what will happen on moving day
Before the move, tell us about parking limits, stairs, narrow doors and furniture that may need dismantling. It also helps to identify the boxes and essential items you want unloaded first. We use the agreed plan to organise loading, transport and room placement at the new home. You receive a written quote after the move has been assessed, and the quoted amount is paid when the agreed job is complete. We don't add deposit, cancellation, key-release or waiting-time charges, so a delayed key handover won't create an extra fee from us.
Frequently asked questions
How do you decide which vehicle my move needs?
We assess the property size, agreed inventory, bulky items and access at both addresses. We then match the job with a vehicle that suits the expected volume, along with an appropriate number of removal workers.
What access details should I provide before the move?
Tell us about parking restrictions, driveways, steps, stairs, lifts, narrow doors and long carrying routes. Please also identify furniture that may need dismantling or could be difficult to take out.
What happens if my keys are released late?
We ask you to keep us updated so we can manage the day's plan. We don't add a key-release charge or waiting-time charge, and you pay the written quoted amount after the agreed work is complete.
